Against the silent sunlight-gilt grey wall
of Hall of Glory lies the beautiful lawn in the lethargic sunshine. Wandering
or sitting, several students are enjoying the warm breeze, reading books,
or chitchatting in whispers. All this forms a postcard-like picture, calm
but full of vigor, appealing but not unapproachable. The lawn in GXU is
tender and beautiful most of the time lays in serenity, just like a pastoral
painting stowed away in the attic of a manqu¨¦ artist. And it has the charm
to tranquilize one's soul when one looks at it in peace.
Set against the flourishing green leaves, the red wall and grey roof of
different buildings that are dotted among the trees and lawns add an elegant
and clear touch to the GXU architecture.
