(1)
Students to be attending in hospital shall be responsible for
their registration fee and the fee for a doctor¡¯s visit at home.
(2) A full scholarship holder shall bear a 10% co-payment of the
charges covered by the Public Medical fund for seeing a doctor
and medical treatments at the appointed hospitals and 5% co-payment
of the portion of charges covered by the Public Medical Fund if
hospitalized. Any other fees and charges incurred due to the services
not listed in the Scope of Public Medical Fund for students at
Guangxi University shall be born by the students themselves. Students
may get reimbursed for their medical expenses by presenting their
medical records, diagnosis reports and the payment receipts to
the FSO.
(3) Scholarship holder shall see a doctor at an appointed hospital;
Otherwise, they will be totally responsible for the expenses.

(4) Scholarship holder will pay themselves for the re-examination
and treatment of chronic illnesses that have occurred before entering
the university, such as liver stone, gallstone, and urinary system
stone, HbsAg positive and so forth.
(5) Students should use medicines properly, and avoid wasting
of medicines. The maximum a doctor can prescribe in a single prescription
is five different drugs or traditional Chinese medicine and two
bottles of oral liquid medicine. If the cost of a single drug
exceeds £¤30£¬no other drugs in the prescription shall be allowed
to buy, except for a critical illness. A student cannot ask for
more than one prescription of oral drugs for chronic disease the
same day. The doctor¡¯s diagnosis and the medicines prescribe
must be written in the Patient Medical Record.
(6) Scholarship holder who wish to do a special examination (CT,
ECT, Color B-Ultrasonic, Electrical Gastro scope, Dynamic Cardiogram,
Fibred Intestine scope, Electroencephalogram and so on) must get
the approval from the Foreign Student Office in advance. The students
will pay 10% of the examination fee if the result is abnormal,
and 50% if normal.
(7) Self-supporting students shall pay full fees themselves for
any medical services.
(8) The medical bills incurred in the previous year cannot be
reimbursed except for those incurred due to continuous treatments.
The deadline for reimbursement is January 31 every year.
