2. Be responsible for the management of various scientific research projects. Be responsible for the statistics, archiving of scientific research achievements, as well as the calculation, statistics, and reporting of scientific research workload. Organize the transfer, application, and industrialization of various scientific research achievements.

5. Be responsible for external cooperation and exchanges in scientific research. Organize domestic and international scientific research collaborations, academic exchanges, cooperation between universities and localities, universities and enterprises, and other scientific research activities, including their planning, organization, and management. 6. Be responsible for the entire process of editing and publishing the "Journal of Guangxi University (Philosophy and Social Sciences)", "Journal of Guangxi University (Natural Science Edition)", and "Genomics and Applied Biology". Be responsible for supervising and guiding the editing and publishing work of "Culture & Communication", "Guangxi Economy", "Legal and Economy", as well as newly established journals (including international journals).

7. Undertake the functions of the university's Academic Committee Office, Science and Technology Association Secretariat, and Social Science Federation Secretariat.
