From November 22 to 23, the 11th International Calcium Carbonate Industry Expo and High-end Academic Forum on New Materials Research and Development 2025 was held at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was jointly organized by Guangxi Calcium Carbonate Industrialization Engineering Institute (Co., Ltd.) and Guangxi Calcium Carbonate Industry Association, with support from the United Front Work Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Guangxi Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Guangxi University, the Guangxi Industrial Promotion, and the Small and Medium Enterprise Service Center. Chen Jingyu, the Secretary-General of the Guangxi Committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association and the Second-level Inspector and  Yao Zuofang, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Guangxi University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

The event was held under the framework of the first China-ASEAN International Industrial Expo (Guangxi), with the theme "Linking ASEAN with Calcium · Collaborative Development—Building a New Ecosystem for Calcium-Based New Materials Industry." It featured a series of activities and attracted over 400 enterprises from more than 20 countries and regions worldwide, along with numerous investors, exhibitors, procurement professionals, and other industry experts. During the opening ceremony, the 2025 Guangxi Calcium Carbonate Industry Development Report was released, systematically reviewing the industry's current status, analyzing and forecasting trends to provide references for high-quality development. At the High-end Academic Forum on New Materials Research and Development, experts engaged in in-depth discussions on technological innovation and transformation in the calcium carbonate industry. Concurrently, the thematic salon "Building a New Ecosystem for Calcium-Based New Materials Industry" brought together experts from universities, government agencies, and enterprises to exchange insights on hot topics such as high-end product innovation, capacity replacement, energy consumption control, and low-carbon pathways. The International Calcium Carbonate Industry Expo showcased cutting-edge technologies and innovative products, highlighting the industry's dynamism in technological advancement and upgrading.
