Xiao Jianzhuang pointed out that the Suphanburi Confucius Institute is the first Confucius Institute established overseas by GXU. It represents a significant achievement of two decades of sincere cooperation between the two universities and serves as a vital bridge for cultural exchange and people-to-people connectivity between China and Thailand. Since the collaboration began in 2006, both sides have consistently adhered to the principles of "mutual respect and mutual benefit," jointly propelling the Institute from inception to growth and gradually developing it into a key hub for Chinese language education and cultural exchange in central and western Thailand. He stated that GXU will continue to deepen cooperation with SDU, jointly promoting the Institute's quality and efficiency enhancement and building a distinctive "Chinese+" brand; expanding cooperation platforms to serve the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two universities; and seizing the opportunities of the times to contribute to China-Thailand cultural exchange and regional development.

Panchani Kongna stated that GXU is SDU's most important partner in China. Through the efforts of both sides, cooperation in relevant fields has maintained its vitality and vigor. The twenty years of construction and development of the Suphanburi Confucius Institute have laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. As the next twenty-year chapter begins, we look forward to upgrading the cooperation between the two universities and fully launching strategic collaboration, adding substance and momentum to our partnership in the era of artificial intelligence.

The meeting reviewed and approved the Suphanburi Confucius Institute's 2025 annual work report and 2026 budget plan, established the development direction of transitioning from single-language teaching to cultivating compound talents under the "Chinese+" model, and made arrangements for a series of activities celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Institute's founding.

Leveraging its outstanding educational achievements and active external engagement, it once again received the honorary title of "Outstanding Confucius Institute in Communications." To date, the institute has trained a cumulative total of 200,000 participants, delivered over 240,000 hours of Chinese language instruction, and reached an audience of more than 360,000 through cultural activities. It has established one Confucius Classroom, five teaching sites, and 28 sub-venues for Chinese language examinations, while actively promoting the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" educational model, thereby cultivating a large number of practical talents for Thailand who are proficient in Chinese, knowledgeable about China, and capable of serving exchanges and cooperation across various fields between China and Thailand.
