From October 26 to November 1, a 12-member delegation of teachers and students from GXU visited Thailand for a cultural exchange activity themed “Marking the 50th Anniversary of China-Thailand Diplomatic Relations: Youth Exchange for a Shared Future.”

The delegation visited Suan Dusit University in Thailand to engage in cultural experience activities. They joined Thai students in cultural exchanges centered on building “golden” friendship, promoting mutual understanding and affection between Chinese and Thai youth through exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. Together, they held Double Ninth Festival activities to care and respect the elderly. Also, the delegation introduced GXU’s history, development, and achievements in China-Thailand cooperation and exchanges, as well as its programs for international students.

During the visit, the delegation also attended events at the Chinese Embassy in Thailand and the Thai headquarters of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group). In Bangkok, they held the inauguration ceremony for the GXU Alumni Association in Thailand.
On the occasion of the “Golden Year of Friendship” — the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic relations, GXU continues to deepen cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries by drawing on its distinctive ASEAN-oriented educational strengths. Representing the spirit of Junwu Youth, the delegation showcased China’s image, effectively told the stories of both China and Guangxi, built a bridge for friendly interactions between Chinese and Thai youth, and enhanced the bonds between the two peoples. Looking ahead, GXU will continue to leverage its geographical and educational strengths to further expand international exchanges, contributing to a higher-level and more profound China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
