On November 6, a Cambodian education delegation, led by Mr.MS.NGANN SREYRATH, Director of the Department of Administration, Personnel Planning, and Finance of the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, and Mr. Lim Vann, Deputy Director of the Department of Management and Planning of the National Institute of Education under the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, visited GXU. Xiao Jianzhuang, Vice President of GXU, met with the delegation.

Xiao Jianzhuang welcomed the delegation's visit. He stated that Guangxi University is willing to fully leverage its disciplinary strengths in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, and others to further expand areas of cooperation with the Cambodian side. He expressed the university's commitment to supporting partner institutions in Cambodia teaching in Chinese language and cultural exchanges by promoting mutual visits of teachers and students, enhancing talent cultivation, and facilitating the dispatch of international Chinese language teachers. Simultaneously, he extended a welcome to more outstanding Cambodian youth to pursue studies at GXU.

The delegation expressed gratitude for the warm reception and stated that through this visit, they deeply felt the strength of GXU in teaching, scientific research, and internationalization. They looked forward to strengthening cooperation between the two sides in fields such as engineering technology and agricultural sciences, and welcomed faculty and students from Guangxi University to visit Cambodia for academic and cultural exchanges.

During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on topics including distinctive academic programs and international student policies.

The delegation visited the University's Engineering Practice and Training Center and the Large-Scale Structural Testing Platform for Civil Engineering. They held in-depth discussions with faculty from relevant schools regarding experimental teaching and scientific research cooperation.
