Recently, a 21-member delegation from the National Sugar Development Council of Nigeria visited GXU for exchange and communication. The two sides held discussions in the areas of the overview of sugar industry development in China and Guangxi, the representative scientific and technological achievements of GXU’s Green Sugar Manufacturing Team, sugarcane production technology, and the design, construction, and operational management of sugarcane sugar mills.

It is reported that the delegation's visit aims to investigate and learn from Guangxi's practical experiences in building a talent cultivation system for the sugar industry, academic research, sugarcane cultivation and processing technologies, sugar production management, and energy saving and consumption reduction. The delegation also looks forward to strengthening cooperation with China. In the coming days, the delegation will continue its sugar industry investigate tour in Guangxi, with subsequent visits planned to local sugarcane planting bases and sugar manufacturing enterprises to realized deepen on-the-ground exchanges.

Experts from the Guangxi Sugar Making Society, the Sugar Industry Association, and China Light Industry Nanning Design Engineering Corporation Limited, among other units, participated in the discussions, sharing industry information.
