On September 27, the launch ceremony for the Industry-Education-Research Cooperation Project of Guangxi University’s Teaching Animal Hospital was held at the Animal Science and Technology Building. Attendees included Prof. Yu Wenjin, Vice President of GXU, as well as Prof. Luo Tingrong,former Vice President and leading expert in veterinary medicine.

Prof. Yu congratulated the official launch of the cooperation project. He emphasized that the establishment of the Teaching Animal Hospital is a key initiative for deepening educational and teaching reforms and advancing the development of academic disciplines at the university. The hospital will not only further integrate industry and education to better support the cultivation of high-quality professionals who meet societal needs, but also serve as an innovative platform for animal diagnosis and treatment, thereby promoting the high-quality development of veterinary medicine at the university.

Participants also visited the hospital’s functional areas, including consultation rooms, operating rooms, laboratories, and seminar rooms. They received detailed briefings on the facility’s equipment, operational planning, research transformation, and educational services.
It is reported that the cooperation project is jointly launched by the College of Animal Science and Technology of Guangxi University and Guangxi Feisaidi Agricultural Technology Group. Both parties expressed their commitment to leveraging their respective strengths to deepen collaboration in industrial synergy, technological innovation, results transformation, and talent cultivation. Together, they aim to build a model for teaching excellence, a benchmark for medical services, and a hub for scientific innovation.
Over 100 faculty and student representatives from related institutions attended the event.
