On June 11st, a video symposium was held between Guangxi University(GXU) and Nghe An University of Vietnam. Nguyễn Ngọc Hiếu, President of Nghe An University, Trần Anh Tư, Vice President of Nghe An University, and Xiao Jianzhuang, Vice President of Guangxi University, attended the symposium.

At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on jointly carrying out Chinese language education, joint cultivation programs, disciplinary cooperation, faculty exchanges, etc. They stated that they would take this symposium as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and promptly promote the implementation of cooperation projects.

Nghe An University of Vietnam is located in Thành phố Vinh, the capital of Tỉnh Nghệ An. Tỉnh Nghệ An is an important province in the north-central region of Vietnam and the hometown of Chairman Ho Chi Minh. It established a friendly provincial relationship with Guangxi in 2010.
