Recently, the National Final of the 8th National Embedded Chip and System Design Competition for College Students was held at the Nanjing Integrated Circuit Training Base. Teams from Guangxi University (GXU) stood out in the fierce competition, winning one First Prize and two Third Prizes at the national level. In addition, the GXU team was awarded the “Anlogic Cup” Enterprise Award, which is presented exclusively to the best-performing team selected from five enterprise competition tracks. These outstanding achievements marks the best result ever attained by universities in Guangxi since the competition was launched.

The competition was organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, with a focus on cultivating high-caliber talents equipped with chip–system engineering practice and innovative design capabilities. Competition topics were jointly proposed by five leading FPGA enterprises from China and abroad, attracting 3,901 teams from 342 universities nationwide. The submitted projects covered cutting-edge and high-demand application fields such as semiconductor testing equipment, autonomous driving algorithms, and intelligent vision chips. Both the scale of participation and the overall quality of entries reached record highs.
After multiple rounds of rigorous selection, the competition awarded 9 Enterprise Grand Prizes, 100 First Prizes, 188 Second Prizes, and 464 Third Prizes.
In the Anlogic track, the GXU team independently developed a semiconductor testing instrument. Featuring an innovative solution characterized by full automation, visualized operation, low cost, and strong compatibility, the project successfully addressed key challenges in the localization of semiconductor testing equipment at the testing stage of the industrial chain. The team claimed the top honor in this track and was invited to participate in the Outstanding Works Exhibition held during the award ceremony.
